Reluctantly for sale is this beautiful Lakland Bob Glaub. I received this on trade a few weeks ago and I'm amazed at how well it cops the vintage Fender P vibe. It's in great condition, but it has been used some. There are some scuff marks on the bridge from a previous owner, some almost imperceptible buckle rash on the back, and some very inconsequential (tiny) dings in the headstock - none of which I could get to show up in a picture. The back of the neck is also slightly darkened from use. It's got a great broken-in feel and sports a new set of LaBella Flats. Includes the white and black Lakland case - which has seen some use as well. 8.2 lbs, according to my digital bathroom scale. I'd love to keep this, but I just have too many basses that aren't getting played. $1800 shipped to the CONUS - Paypal is fine. No trades at this time.

That's a sweet Glaub! Just an FYI, I clicked the link for pics and was asked for a login by the site.

Also, is it a 1.75" or 1.5" neck? And do you know if the pickup is a Fralin or a Hanson/Lakland? They switched to the latter in late '07/early '08, so the serial number would indicate the date of manufacture and thus likely reveal which pickup's in there.

Thanks for the heads up on the link. Fixed.

It's 1.75" at the nut. Very similar profile to a pre-CBS neck P neck.

I'll check into the pickup. Its serial # is 339, so not sure where that puts it.

Sure, and thanks for the info. That serial number makes it an early 2008, according to Lakland. So I'm not sure which pickup it has. There's a way to tell by the wires, but I'm not sure what it is.

If this was available in September, I'd be all over it. Bump for my favorite Glaub.
