This is hard, but we are having a baby on the way so I am selling my 1999 Lakland USA 4-94 in trans red, rosewood fretboard with original hard case, bass is all original. Weights about 9 lbs. The bass has Bartolini pickups and the Bartolini preamp. The graphite-reinforced neck has a rosewood fretboard. I think the neck is made of Quarter-Swan Maple, the body is made of Alder. The bass is in excellent condition, there is no dents or dings on the body or on the neck includes the headstock, except there is a paint chip on the body by the trust rod, as you can see in the picture and you can easy fix it yourself. This happended when I took to have the bass setup. No big scraches, only some light swirls on the body. If you see the neck, there is a light from the camera, not wood fading. The neck is straight, frets look great. The electronics are dead quit. No cracking when you turn any of the knobs. The bass has no dead spots. This is the best bass I have ever played and I have taken a very good care of it. Everything works prefectly, the neck is straight. I am asking $1750 shipped within the USA. Paypal only please. I can ship outside the USA if you pay for actual cost of shipping.
Reduced to $1675 shipped (firm). If no one intersted, I will keep it. I know I will regret selling it but I need $$$$$
**SOLD**

I find myself choosing now between rent/food (and let's be honest, pedals) or this bass...hmmm. I could lose a few pounds for sure... |

My $$ is on alder :-)

Let me just say that someone needs to buy this bass NOW and save me another difficult conversation with the wife sometime late next week when another bass shows up at our doorstep. |
