FS: Lakland USA 55-94 Deluxe

Sign in to disble this ad
Up for sale is my made-in-USA Lakland 55-94 Deluxe. Body is swamp ash with a beautiful quilt maple top. Neck is maple, with a stunning birdseye maple fingerboard.

Pickup is Bartolini. This bass has a warm tone, very growly and punchy low-mid. This is one of the most versatile bass I've played. There's a multiple possibilities of tone that you can dial-in with the settings, from traditional to MM, and even modern sound.

The bass is in a very good condition. Very good playability. Action is currently set very low.

Serial number is 6273. I believe it's made in 2001. Weight is about 9.2lbs according to my bathroom scale.

Price is $2200 including shipping to CONUS. It comes with a vintage tolex hardcase.

Thanks for looking!

That is *the* nicest quilted maple I've seen on a bass. Not the quiltiest, but with tons of depth and great sweeping figure. Excellent piece!

I like...

I've been looking around for one of these US-55's for some time now but haven't been able to afford the ones I really like. I had my heart set on an amber or blue burst finish but could see myself playing the natural too. How do you feel about $1,800?
