First things first...
"THIS IS NOT A FENDER JAZZ BASS"...
Up for sale is my "HOHNER JAZZ BASS" from (as far as I know) late 70's... The guy that I got it from got it brand new in 1979 so I'm assuming that this has to be from late 70's... It doesn't have any information on it not even a serial number... So if anyone knows anything about this baby feel free to let me knowThe previous owner removed the HOHNER logo and added on a Fender Jazz Bass water slide logo to it's headstock... It has real mother of pearl inlays (no stickers on this one) the eletronics are all stock but I'm not sure about the bridge pickup but it sounds really really good... Like a 70's jazz bass should... It has a fresh set of elixir 0.45 ...
It ships on a Warwick rockbag gig bag and it is very light (less than 9 pounds on my digital bathroom scale...
I'm asking $500 shipped...
As for trades I'm looking for a micro amp, a Boss HR2, A PS3 (yeah i need a play station 3 lol) or a MXR Octave Deluxe would work as well...
Let me know if u have any questions...
Thanks

Not interested in this particular bass, but I admire like hell the "Not a Fender, this is a Hohner" at the top of your ad. Good Luck with the Sale!

I'm assuming it has 70s pup spacing, right?

Any other issues, electronics, frets, etc? You don't happen to have any sound clips or anything do you?

I don't have any sound clips right now and yes it does have the 70's pickup spacing and sounds very good with a Nice jazzy bass punch!!! No other issues... I was planning to install a pair of Bart's single coils if I was gonna keep it but I'm only playing 5es right now and this one it's been in the closet forever and not getting any play time!!!

Are they the original tuners...does it stay in tune?

And you happen to know what type of wood it is?
