I bought this beautiful jazz a couple of weeks ago because I was missing my Sadowsky and couldn't afford to get a new one. Unfortunately, I have realized that I am a P-bass guy and I'll probably end up selling every jazz I buy, not like that will stop me from buying another.

This bass was professionally assembled out of Warmoth parts. The neck and body are both Warmoth. The neck is maple with a rosewood fretboard that has had the finish removed from the back and the body is ash. The bass sports a gotoh bridge, Schaller Ultra-light tuners and the best part, it also has Sadowsky pickups!!! I would consider this bass to be very light weight, I'm going to guesstimate around 8 pounds and I'm a good guesstimator.
Having a professional build the bass really does make a huge difference. The neck pocket is perfectly tight, no gaps! The frets have been dressed beautifully and there is no buzz; the fingerboard edges were smoothed as well. Combine this with the satin finish on the back of the neck and it is super fast with excellent playability. The best part about this bass is when I run it through my outboard Sadowsky preamp, it nails the Sadowsky tone to the T, I would even say it sounds better than a couple Sadwoskys I've owned. Sacrilege I know, but it is the truth. It's super punchy with excellent clarity.
The bass is in great shape. There aren't any dings or scrapes, just some ultra-light buckle rash on the back. It's the kind you can only see when you turn it a certain angle in the light. I didn't even notice it until I had the bass for over a week and had been playing it. The candy apple orange juice finish is absolutely beautiful and it gets a ton of attention!
Price: $685 plus shipping. I'll ship the bass in a nice Dude Pit embroidered gig bag that's basically brand new. I could part it out for more, but it really makes a fantastic bass the way it is. I just sold one of my amps, so I have some extra cash. I could be interested in a trade plus cash on my end towards another bass or nice amp. I'm trying to move up in the world.
