FS- Marcus Miller 5 w/case

I need to pay off some wedding bills and this might have to go. I hate to have to sell it, but cash is tight and I need to pay some bills.

The bass is in great condition and sounds amazing!!!! I do not have the chrome cover, but you can get one for $15 from basspartsresource.com.

Asking $1,350 obo shipped to lower 48 only. No international, sorry.

Peace,
Chris

Might consider partial trades plus cash, but really need to sell. Only 5'ers unless you have a killer, killer 4. Will also consider a 6....maybe.

New pics

There are some chips at the fret ends that are the white spots seen in these pics.

Some of the typical buckle rash and a black mark from sitting on a stand-

Nice

I actually think this is better looking than the white, black or sunburst. I am just 1349$ too short is all.

Bump.

many folks here on TB have lots of good things to say about the MM 4. interestingly, there are not too many V's out there, and so far I haven't been successful finding one in a store for testing.

Anything to mention about the B-string? does it feel and sound similar with the other strings?
is the spacing at the bridge 18 mm or 19 mm?

Thanks

Is it really as dark as it looks in your photos? Do you have any more photos in different light? Thanks.

It is still a lot darker than a MM4, but not as dark as the photos. I will take some more pics and post them. Give me about a day or so. PM me if you want me to send them directly to you.

Peace,
Chris

Somebody's gonna get a monster of a bass! I've never played a Custom Shop Fender, but the MMV has got to be in that ballpark. The one I played felt like a boutique piece.

Yup. I don't have an accurate scale, but my guess would be about 9.5lbs just to be safe.

I haven't played many 5'ers but that seems like a pretty light bass.

Yes, many of the MMs' that I have played were usually around 8.5-9lbs. This one has been the first one that was in this range. Still, a very light bass.

Bump

I thought it would be heavier. Must be swamp ash. My old MM 4 was around 11 lbs cuz it was nthrn ash. More like a real 70's j bass. Do you have a scale? I'm real curious since I've never played an MM 5 string.
