FS: Matsumoku Hondo II P-Bass Professional MINTY w OHSC

For sale is a Hondo II Professional P-Bass with OHSC.
This bass, made in Japan 1980 at the legandary Matsumoku factory is in super clean condition for an almost 30 year bass with a sunburst finish and vitually no wear.
It features one DiMarzio Precision pickup (sticker/label still on!), a Gibson stytle 3 point bridge, and a medium scale of approx 32.5 inches. The neck is maple with a maple fingerboard. The neck joint is very secure due to the Matsumoku designe whereby the neck is slightly inserted into the body.
The action is slightly radiused due to the radiused 3 point bridge. Feels very natural. Add flats and this bass howls with old schoold mojo. The truss rod works fine and the bass has been set up to my specs.
I recently sold a Matsumokua Vantage VS600B bass which is essentially idential to this bass but this bass is in much better condition and has a cooler finish.
The bass is almost immacualte. There was some very light scrathing againt painted surfaces resulting in some red markings in area near where the neck meets the body (barely visible as per pics) and some white-ish markings on the side of the bass near the longer horn (both pictured). I was able rub out portions of these markings from both areas so I thnk some light buffing will remove it altogether.
Save for a small nick just under the neck place on the back which ca be seen, this bass is imaculate. Though there is no logo on it, I believe the hardshell case is original as it fits the bass like a glove.
My Vantage, which was identical to this bass recently sold for $250 shipped CONUS in IHSC so I am also setting the price for this one at $250 shipped in the CONUS.
