Hey y'all.

I haven't got a paycheck for a few months and think I will need to fund raise within the next 2-3 months before cash runs out (still got wife's salary, but cash is leaking quickly). So I have decided to sell my most expensive bass, in the hopes i can keep the rest until money starts flowing again. It's a beautiful bass and sounds great. Alleva Coppolo STD 4 in stunning Ice Tea Burst. Nitro finish, indian rosewood fb. No Dents, Small scrap on the back side edge of headstock (it's tiny, I managed to isolate it well in a pic for y'all). It comes with the original gig bag, if you want it to travel in something else, I can do that for fair market value of the other cases i have. Anyway, it's NOW $2750 plus shipping from Memphis, TN

Obviously with my situation straight cash would be best, but I don't mind downgrading to a P or P/J with some cash to reach the value of my bass.

This just really blows!

I am very sorry to hear that you are selling an instrument as incredible as this. I am with you...as I haven't seen a paycheck in over 6 months. And I don't have a second income coming in. I was just figuring out what I would sell to get me by for the next few months.

Not too long ago if one of these came up available it was sold just as the last keystroke for the ad was hit. It seemed like they were sold in minutes of posting. It's an absolute crime that you should even consider lowering the price and I hate to see this. It's just wrong.

I am trying to make iphone apps with some friends right now, hopefully that can scrape up some scratch in the mean time and I can be back to my usual wasteful spending ways

would love a straight up sale, but an exciting bass + $1200 or more might work too. Lowend basses might work too with a big chunk-o-cash

Having to part with this bass really sucks. And I think I am going to have to take trades (except for tiny low-end bass trades) off the table. I need to come up with an extra $3K on top of everything else for a MEM - PER trip.

That's really tempting, except that I really don't need a new bass right now and have a baby on the way. Now if it was a five string I would be doing something really stupid. Good luck with the sale.
