FS / Maybe FT - Modulus Flea Bass FB5 $1150

I am selling this to fund another purchase. I would like to get $1500 $1250 $1150 shipped to the CONUS only - no international. Paypal preferred.

2006 Modulus FB5 - black with white pearloid pickguard
34" scale
Aguilar OBP-3 preamp - treble/mid/bass
Basslines pickup
Probably in the 9-10 lbs. range (I don't have a scale).
17mm string spacing
Gloss finished neck (not satin)

Full disclosure: I am the second owner of this bass. It came to me with buckle rash already on the back. Has a scratch on the side below the control knobs (see pics). There is a scratch/crack in the finish in the area of the neck pocket (see pics). This is in the finish only and does not affect the functionality or playability of this bass.

Bass plays fantastic like you would expect from Modulus and the carbon fiber neck. It's solid - you simply don't have to tune these as much as you would another bass and that was one of the reasons I swore I'd never get rid of this bass. I really like the Aguilar preamp in these. Much better than the Bart IMHO. With that said, my GAS for a Sadowsky has motivated me to do the previously unthinkable and sell this beast.

The "Maybe FT" parts comes in there. I'm only looking for a Sadowsky Metro RV5 or MV5. It is possible, though highly unlikely, that you could peak my interest with something else. But ask and the worst I could say is, no thanks.

Man, these basses sound really good with the SD + Aggie setup. I bought one not expecting much, and was really surprised how good it sounded.. Sold it, but hmm...

Seeing threads like this make me anxious; dream-basses of mine for sale, but my money is always spent when I come across them.
