I am selling the last of my 32" MIJ Fender Squier Precision basses. It is in excellent condition.
The neck is in excellent condition with almost no signs of wear.
It has active EMG pickups because I used it to record with. I converted it to active pickups and had a luthier put an 18 volt battery compartment on the back which you can see in the pictures. I will also include the original passive pickups and pots so that you can convert it back to passive if you wish.
Its serial number is E762761 so it was made in 1984 or 1987.
As I said it is in excellent condition. It does have 2 or 3 very small dimples, but nothing of any note. It has 1 small hairline scratch in the finish, not in the wood. You have to look very closely to it.
This Precision Bass and the Jazz Bass which is its mate and was for sale here on TB are the last of my 32" Fender basses. These were my go to basses and were the best of the best.
Someone asked if this can be made passive again? The answer is yes. All you need to do is take out the actives and drop in the passives. You can do it in about 15 minutes. Very easy to do.
As I said above I will also include the original passive pickups and pots so that you can convert it back to passive if you wish.
!!!!!!!!! SOLD !!!!!! I am selling it for $400 which includes shipping and a hard shell TKL case which is also in excellent condition.!!!!!!!SOLD!!!!!!!!!
