I just bought this from a guitar player buddy of mine that needed the money for some medical bills.
I didn't really need it since I am having a P bass made to "truer" vintage specs.
Fender site dates it to 1990-1991.
It is super light. My bathroom scale calls it 8lbs even.
My friend changed to pickup to a Seymour Duncan Basslines
SPB-2.
The bummer - this thing has been knocked around.
I tried to capture the extent best I could in pictures.
There are a couple of dings on the back of the neck that I could not capture. Nothing that affects the playability IMHO.
I was with him when he bought it 5 years ago and he virtually never played it. The frets are good.
Comes with a hardshell case pictured.
I just want to recoup what I have into it. $575 shipped.
CONUS only please.
Not really interested in trades, except maybe a Fender Roadworn Jazz
The Ugliness
Play great. If you want a P thats shiney and pretty up close... This is not the bass for you. If you want a good player for not a lot of $$$... Here you go.
I think it has that "Jamerson vibe"
