I had this up for sale a few weeks ago and I decided to put it back on the block. I'll have to get some new pictures since I made a few changes to the bass but I'll post these in the time being so you get the idea.

As far as the changes go I've completely swapped out the old electronics. The pickup is now a DiMarzio Model P. The pots were replaced with CTS solid shaft pots. An orange drop cap was installed and the jack is a new Switcraft jack. I purchased new fender style heavyweight knobs. I replaced the bridge with a hipshot vintage style bridge. There was an issue with the original nut so I replaced that with a pre-slotted graphtek nut. The bass is currently wearing a new set of Chromes.

Full disclosure the nut may need some more work. It is not bad and definitely playable but it's not a professionally done job. If you really dig in on an open "A" some buzzing occurs in the nut slot. It probably just needs to be filed but I don't want to mess with it and potentially make it worse.

I'll include all of the original parts and It will ship in a case that is a hybrid of a hard case and a soft case. I'm just looking to get what I put into it. I'd like $400 $375 $325 shipped in the CONUS until the bass I have my eye on sells!

Bump for the charming "His Master's Bass" image in pic. #1. And a lovely bass it is too.

That is a solid P Bass there, looks to be a 1970. I have a 77 Aria which I love. Good price with all the upgrades you've done. I believe those tuners have adjustable tensioning, very high quality. This is so much cooler than a new Squier.

Thanks for the kind words. How does the adjustable tensioning work? I'll have to check it out when i get home.

Where does the Wrench actually go on the tuners? I agree they are very smooth.

Around the shaft right where the little hole is, the whole shaft will turn. There is a nub on the wrench that goes in the hole so it grips it. You might be able to turn the shaft with something else in there.

Emblymouse was correct. The bass does have the adjustable tension tuners.

Tempting, but I think I'll hold out for a 5er.

9lbs even by the bathroom scale method. The scale goes down to 1/10th's of a lb.

Nut width is 1 5/8 according to my tape measure. I keep meaning to bring my engineer's scale or calipers from work to get a better measurement but I always forget.

Also 34" scale since it was not mentioned and the question was asked before.

The dog is not for sale. My roommate would kill me if I sold his dog. She does seem to like my basses though.

Trade for a "parts" Tele bass?

TWO '51/Tele-style basses for $600 (or one for $350)

Thanks for the offer but I think I'll have to pass. I'm really looking to sell here but I could possibly be persuaded into a trade for a Peavey G bass.

$325 shipped conus. I've got my eye on something else so I'd like this to move. If the bass I'm interested in sells first its back up to $350.
