FS: Mike Lull M4V Candy Orange, ash/maple Fralins, active/passive dead mint

SOLD SOLD SOLD Flawless Lull M4V. I recently bought that as another of my experiments but alas, I'm just not a JJ bass kinda guy. Dead mint condition and only a few months old. Playability is superb, balance is perfect, great tone.

Lull M4V
ash/birdseye maple
candy orange finish with mother of toilet seat pick guard
Fralin pickups
Bartolini 2-band eq with passive tone (also push/pull active/passive)
34" scale
19mm spacing
7.8 lbs
included Lull gig bag

Sell for $2075 shipped/insured in the CONUS. Sorry not interested in any trades. Also not a firesale - I can keep it as a backup but frankly I hate having instruments sitting around not getting played. Indistinguishable from new.

That orange is amazing!

I normally hate the color orange, but that's damn sharp with maple.

The pictures don't do it justice - really pretty in person. Neck is to die for - seriously, this is a sweet bass. I just prefer my Fodera with PJ setup.

Very pretty, Lull Jazz Bass kill.
If it was passive only, I'd be all over it.

satellite4 03-06-2013 11:15 AM

Oh man this hurts...killer bass!

Lorenzini 03-06-2013 03:47 PM

Mike's 4 string J's are BY FAR my favorite 4 string of all time.

Nothing plays easier. It's actually physically un-possible :hyper:

Pull up the passive tone control and you're passive.

It's two basses in one! :D

I play mine passive quite a bit, those Fralins are absolutely killer both passive and active.

Also, great bass, you have exceptional taste...

Not a fan of active at all.

oh, God!!

Love the color and the bass. I've really been gassn' for one of these.

BGeetr169 03-06-2013 08:42 PM

One of my favorite color combos! Mike makes some amazing basses. I am waiting someone to list a 5er just like this one! GLWTS!

SactoBass 03-06-2013 09:34 PM

Free bump for a top notch TB'er, and for an absolutely stunning bass!

Btw, what is the nut width on this beauty?

Old Fart 03-06-2013 11:16 PM

Bump for a great bass and a cool guy.

Hi, Nostatic!

Superman.

nostatic 03-07-2013 12:18 AM

Hey Jim - hope things are well!

Nut width is 1.5". Pickups are hum canceling to the best of my knowledge - they are dead quiet when solo'd. The neck has a great feel and the bass is incredibly comfortable either on a strap or seated.

Wow.

That's just beautiful. Played one with similarly spec'd woods/electronics the other day--super rich, versatile tone. Good luck with the sale. Wish I had the bones.

Lorenzini 03-07-2013 11:24 AM

For all those hesitating -- don't.

Guaranteed good buy. (If I had the cash this would be mine)
