For sale only, no trades. I have had some medical bills that I can pay off over time, but I'd prefer to just cover them in full. Unfortunately, that means downsizing a bit.
Candy Apple Red M5V in excellent condition. When I received it, it had a Aguilar OPB-3 pre, which I swapped for a Bartolini NTMB. Alder body/Maple neck. Weighs 8.5 lbs. Controls are V p-p active-passive/B/p-p M/B-T. Custom Duncan single coils it sounds excellent! Strung with Sadowky Blue SS rounds.
I bought the bass here (see for more pics.) It looks and plays the same as the day I bought it: perfect.
Asking $1700 shipped in the CONUS $1600 plus shipping, includes gig bag.

I describe my opinion on the improvements of the bart preamp here.
The Aguilar pre is gone.
Weight is 8.5 lbs. |

Sorry this one has to go...I can only imagine how good it sounds. I'm a huge fan of the Duncan/Bart combo in these instruments, and the alder/maple board combo....slurp. |

Here's some recent tracks, raw mix, rough vox, rough piano. Listen for the Low-B at 2:57 on Sunshine. (I had to lower the bitrate to 120k to get an allowable size.)
Signal chain is Lull M5V -> Avalon U5 -> Purple Audio MC76 (1176 clone) -> Protools HD

Footie is correct this is one badass bass and Kai is super great to work with.
