| | AKA The Butler | | Join Date: Jun 2012 Location: Atlanta, GA | | | FS: Mike Lull P5, Ice Blue w/ matching headstock This is the bass on Glenn's Austin Bass Traders website. He still has pics up on site.
I did verify the specs with Mike Lull and Glenn had 2 things listed wrong. It is an alder body not ash & it has a Seymour Duncan pickup not Lindy Fralin.
Here are the specs, confirmed by Mike Lull Guitars:
Mike Lull P 5 Ice Blue with matching headstock
Alder body
Maple neck/ Brazilian rosewood fingerboard
35” scale
18mm string spacing
Seymour Duncan Custom Shop P pickup, made to Mike's spec.
Passive vol. and tone controls
White pickguard
Plek'd
Weight 8 lbs
Mike Lull custom cream Tolex hardshell case
Built December 2008
For Winter NAMM 2009
Mike remembers the bass well and considered keeping it for himself.
It does have Brazilian Rosewood fretboard that he doesn't offer anymore.
Bass is in 9.8 out of 10 condition.
Price: $1900 including shipping to lower 48 states. Paypal is fine.
Here's the link to Glenn's site: http://www.austinbasstraders.com/preowned
Glenn is a great guy and very knowledgable about basses. He is extremely great to work with.

Bump for a spectacular instrument!!!

Also, when did Mike stop offering the Brazilian RW? I hadnt heard that.
Very tempting. |

Very tempting. | Can't compare the Duncan to the Lindy Fralin. I have never played the Fralin's.
The Duncan sounds like a good, vintage P bass to me. Polar opposite of EMG's which I have in another bass.
I'm not sure when Mike stopped using Brazilian Rosewood but both Mike & Paul confirmed they can longer use it. |

And...
