I just got this in trade, and it is a fantastic bass. I believe this to be the finest new J bass that I played. It is probably 9.5 lbs (my scale is broken) I'm not playing enough electric at the moment to justify having this one.

Trans Blue
White Pearloid pickguard
Ash Body
Maple Neck
Pau Ferro Fretboard
Nordstrand noiseless pickups
Vol-Vol-Tone
Passive
J type neck
12" radius

$1600 shipped.

These are pics for the Low End site. There are Barts in it in these pics, but it now has Nordys.

This bass haunts me, never seems to go away. Good luck, wish I could snag this one.

I was told that it was built in 1997. I don't think that it was Plek'd.

I'm tempted to trade back!
Bump for one of the greatest basses I've ever owned and played.

It has not been PLEKD....

Man, that is one pretty bass. If only it was a fretless 5!

It is a great bass, and I would like to hold onto it, but it's just not getting much use.

I would love to find a way to take this off your hands! Got to play a PJ4 the other week and was just amazed at the playability and tone.

Open to any trades? Or strictly sale only?

Oh, sorry I missed your post. My power has been out.

I've been pretty picky about trades lately because I have way too much gear. I've been trying to thin out a bit, but I might be interested in your Berg AE410.
