FS: MIM 1996 Fender Fretless Jazz Bass ($275)

This is a MAJOR update form the last time I posted. I have taken all new photos of the bass with up-close photos of the fretboard, the small paint "ding" on the side, and the bass - front to back - as well as a better quality picture of the headstock. The bass is currently strung with GHS Regular Gauge Precision Flatwounds (.055-.105). Has a bit of wear for a bass 15 years old (slight dust on the bridge & tuners along with minimal fretboard wear).

One of the pics is the "ding" on the bottom-left side of the bass. It's difficult to see and the blemish is only the paint. Fretboard pics show the butt of the neck as well as the top, and has very little wear. In case anyone is interested, these images were taken with a 3.0 megapixel phone camera - so please (try to) excuse the bad quality.

Once again, the price total is $275.00, that's $250 for the bass + $25 for the shipping via UPS Ground. No strap, stand, case, bag, cord, or anything of that sort - just the bass. Everything is completely stock (BTW & FYI) - minus the strings - they're new. She also weighs 9lbs. Also, I will not ship internationally - Only within the US.

As for the reason why I am selling this bass, what can I say? I love my P-bass and everything about P-basses. I thought I'd give a fretless a go and sure enough, I liked it! Unfortunately, a Jazz bass isn't my forte and fretless doesn't suit the sounds 'n' tones that I adore, thus, I'm hoping someone out here will give her a good home.

Cheers!

If I hadn't just bought a new head and cab, I'd be all over this.

Bump & still available. A couple of people did ask me do I accept PayPal and how am I going to box this. The answers to these questions can be found below.

Q: Do you accept PayPal?

A: Totally. In fact, I should have posted that I will ONLY accept PayPal payments. It's just easier that way.

Q: Since there's no gig bag or case, how will the item [bass] be shipped to ensure complete safety?

A: The bass will be shipped in a cardboard guitar box with Styrofoam padding on all sides, wrapped with packing sheet (those Styrofoam blankets), headstock bubble wrapped, and sheets of bubble wrap will be placed on the top and bottom of the bass. The bass will also be down-tuned a full step.

Only shipping within the United States. Not sure where "AK" would be (assuming you're referring to a place outside the US).
