Well I went on a splurge last month and this month with another bass coming to me tomorrow, I have to unload at least one of these.

First up is a 2004 Fender 50's classic series P.
In great codition. Got some scoffs but nothing major. Pickguard has light scratches. Neck is straight and wide! 1.75" at nut but it's a nice comfy flat radius IMHO.

Price: $525.00 shipped

Next is my newly acquired blacktop p bass that I defretted. Awesome awesome tone. Very aggressive. Use it at church today and it had too much mwah that I had to favor the neck pickup more and lower the tone knob to about 10% if not it was a very aggressive mwah. Tone is somewhat close to a Warwick mid range throaty noise with the bridge solo'd. I defretted the bass. Has 2 layers of epoxy on the fretboard and in top of that I put5 coats of clear poly! Great tone. Think Warwick met pedulla pentabuzz mwah.

Price: $450.00 shipped

Very hesitant to sell either but I have a new ibanez ashula bass coming tomorrow. Honestly I may pullbthis thread if u happen to favor the fenders over the ashula. Well see.

No trades at the moment, I have 6 basses laying at home with only one getting most of the play time. The rest are just for fun I guess.

I'm gonna take the blacktop off. It's such a nice and unique fender I want to keep it longer.

However if the buyer of the 50's P wants to swap bridges with me before I ship it, it'll be their choice. I just prefer the vintage thread bridge for a fretless. This new highness bridge is awesome btw!

I fixed the major issue with it. The highness bridge is really nice but too restricting for fretless as I couldn't get it to go as low as I wanted
