FS: MIM Fender Classic Series 60's (3tsb)

It is a 2005 model according to the serial at least. MZ5xxxxx
3 tone sunburst. this bass has some wear and tear on it but it plays beautifully and sounds awesome.
The neck is straight and has medium low action with zero buzzing. I think I'm getting this whole setting up thing. Intonation is perfect too btw
I got this bass in a trade and it does not have a pickguard nor does it have the original gigbag.
I added schaller strap lock buttons because I put them on all my basses since I love my 1 strap.
Besides that you guys know the bass. If you dont, look up the specs on fenders website =)
BTW the body is a 3 piece alder, you can definately see the 3 different pieces on the back. Its not like those old MIM basses where they used multiple plywoods.

I would like to get $550.00 shipped for this bad boy or I would trade for a classic series 50's P-bass (honey blonde prefered but 2tsb a plus too)

Btw I'm not sure if I mentioned the basss has couple dings here and there. some wear on the top and bottom. I'll let the pictures talk. If youre looking for a perfect condition bass jsut look away. If you want something close to a roadworn series but not that bad this is perfect!

If you have other trades just throw it at me!

Bass will come in a gigbag.

Let me know if you guys want more pictures. I'm just terrible at taking pictures with this point and shoot camera or any camera. Maybe you expert photographers can give me hints on where to take pictures.

That looks like 2-tone sunburst. Could you take a photo of the front in daylight (no flash)?

Thanks...

well its definately a 3 tone sunburst since I dont think fender ever made these in 2 tone. Besides the P basses. Heres some better pictures to show the red in the bass. Like I said Im a terrible photographer. I can barely keep my hands straight if I dont do autoshoot =)

Enjoy!

the steady pictures I used flash..

oh btw the red part that was underneath the pickguard is a lot darker than the rest too.

O and to answer thee tb question asked most on here: the bass weighs in at 8.8lbs

FWIW, the neck alone off one of these just sold on Ebay for $359 plus shipping ... ... and furthermore, this is one of the few quality basses in the Fender line that you CAN take the pickguard off (no routing) ... bump it up ...

That particular model will run you $799 brand new because its a '60's Jazz bass. If you don't like the bass, cool. You don't have to look at it! But quit being rude on the man's 'for sale' thread, will ya? That's what PM's are for.

Being ignorant is a bliss. I too felt like that when I was 12 years old.

I think this bass looks pretty badass. My jazz bass looks just like this except for the t-shell pickguard.
