This is a really nice bass in excellent condition, but I migrated to playing 5-strings exclusively. The serial number says it's a 2001-2002 build.

A tiny ding on the top edge of the upper horn is about the only cosmetic deficiency:

$450, shipped CONUS. No gig bag or case, but I'll bubble wrap the heck out it before it goes in the cardboard box.

Hit me with an offer, if you like. I don't need any more basses, but a boutique cab (like Aggie, Epi, Berg, etc.) is something I could use.

what are the pickups with just the single pole piece for each string? It looks like a set of Suhr's I used to have in a Hamer Cruise 2-Tek.

I haven't modded it; those are the pups that were in it when I bought it.

Yah--another TBer was thinking they looked like Suhr's design.

I too was wondering why the pickups only had 4 pole pieces.

Found this, which mentions Suhr's pups in a Jazz Deluxe, but they were MIA and not MIM, as this bass is.

I dunno. Maybe a previous owner had the mod done.

Me, too, and I love it. It reminded me why I love Fenders so much. Such a great bass for the money.
