FS/FT: MIM Fender Jazz Deluxe(Price Lowered)

**Sold Pending Funds**I believe this was manufactured in 2002. It is in excellent to mint condition. There are no dents and I could only find 3 minor finish scratches/flaws. It's been lightly used, so the frets are in excellent shape. The truss rod works as it should but I would recommend a good set-up because I only adjusted it to tested it for proper function. The OHSC has a few minor rubs and closes correctly with latches and handle that work fine. I would like to get $450 shipped (CONUS). Feel free to ask questions.

I'd be open to trades for:

Interesting four string basses

Active Deluxe

These are fabulous basses -

I own two of them and they are my main gigging bass.
The 3 band EQ kicks serious butt and gives great tonal flexibility.

The mid-boost control enlarges the basses testicles to the max. I am able to punch people in the chest without ever touching them.

Great bass! I'd buy it in a heartbeat, 'cept two is plenty already.

Thanks for the words Thorrr!

I'll may regret selling this as I will likely never find another in this condition. Except if it is new of course.

Bottom line is that I'm a 50 year old learning the bass for the first time and my Peavey Fury is sufficient for my needs.

"Trussrod turns freely." The trussrod hasn't come unscrewed from it's mount in the neck, has it? Anything wrong with the neck? What is the FB radius, please?

Sorry for the confusion. The truss rod works as it should. I just wanted to point out that it wasn't bound up or anything. The bass was sitting for some time before I acquired it. I did adjust the truss rod to see if it was functioning but am not confident enough with my set-up skills to go any further. I think I'll revise my wording to reflect this.
I am not aware of any issues with the neck. I don't know the neck radius off-hand. I'll have to do some checking and get back to you.
By now it's probably pretty obvious that I am no bass expert.

No worries, Dakooz. I just wanted to check to make sure...gotta be careful. Someone might say "Trussrod turns" when the reason why it turns is b/c it is snapped clean off. Then the come back and say "Dude, I said that it turns...you didn't ask any other questions." You know how it is. Thank you!

I also have that same model - large pole pieces and all -

I believe it is a 9.5" radius - I am pretty sure - but not positive.

I have had 4 different necks on mine, and jsut recently put the original back on. Its a REALLY nice player.

If that is any reflection on this model - so be it.

definately a players instrument -
