FS: MIM Fender jazz five string

This bass started as a mediocre, beat-up MIM Fender Jazz I received in a trade. With a lot of TLC, I did extensive renovations, described in detail here.

It now has Lindy Fralin jazz pickups, and Audere preamp, and sounds as fabulous as one would expect. The lacquer finish (my first time) turned out pretty good, though there are some minor imperfections.

Some of you may recognize this as my cherished former NY Giants theme bass. But because I really need to sell this due to financial reasons, I repainted the pickguard for a battered copper look to appeal to a larger sales audience.

Asking $545 shipped.
More detailed pictures will follow shortly. It weighs about 10 pounds. No trades, please.

Say it aint so.

The copper looks real nice but I am sad to see the giants bass die.

Free bump the bass is looking great.

That really looks good! Did you paint the neck pickup too?

Thanks!

Indeed, Nobes, it was a sad decision.

Yes, Doctor. The pickups are both painted.
