But unfortunately at the time yours was not for sale. Now it is, and I just bought one (off another TB'er) Bump for a great bass, at a good price.

This base is a Fender Precision Special. These were made in Mexico from 1994 to 1996. Smaller body shape, 22 fret neck, smaller Tele type headstock. Nut width is 1.625 inches, so it's between a standard Precision and a Jazz. P/J pickups with active preamp, 9 volt . Control layout is.
Stacked pots
Top inner = Volume
Top outer = Blend
Lower inner = Treble
Lower outer = Bass
From what I've read, the name Cowpoke came from Dave Fitch, on the old Dudepit forum and the name just stuck. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
Hope this helps.
Lots of ?? but no firm buyers, Yet.

Good luck |

I don't even remember any MIM models before 1990.
