FS: MIM Fretless Jazz

Hello there!

I have a MIM fretless jazz bass. I bought it from another fellow earlier this summer. It is early 2000's, has after-market pickups (I think Seymour Duncans but I don't know how to verify?). It was painted this color by its previous owner, is a good paint job.

The headstock says "Dusty Chops" the brand of his custom guitars or something, I'm not quite sure.

Sounds and plays amazing! $200 + 1/2 of shipping

Open to trades only for a preamp.

EDIT: comes with a hard shell case.

No, I am not sure. Is there any way I can tell? It's possible it's a squier. Can someone help me out with figuring out how to tell which it is? I was led to believe it's a MIM Fender...

He didn't scratch it off--it's actually painted over. The body and headstock match.

Squire. not MIM. You can take that to the bank for the above stated observations. However, I have seen and played Squires that had better neck profiles and fret work than MIM.

O ok then that might explain the missing black lining if it was an mim,but i think u would be able to see a bit of it either way,a pic of the back of the headstock can be a perfect way to tell us if it is indeed a fender
