FS: MINTY Sadowsky Metro RV4

I traded for this bass earlier this year, but I haven't really bonded with it. It's in minty, like-new condition. I really can't find a single scratch on it. Beautiful deep cherry-burst finish over ash, maple neck with a morado fingerboard. Sub- 9 lbs, but I'm not sure on an exact weight. I'm very sensitive to heavy basses, and this one is very nice compared to most Metro's I've played.

Includes sadowsky hybrid case and wrenches.

$1800 shipped conus, paypal OR $1750 via fee-free payment (check, bank transfer, cash in hand, etc.) Please don't lowball me.

I'm not sure on trades, but I would consider traditional 4 string Fender-style Jazz basses that net me $700 to $1100 in cash. I'm not looking for a museum piece, would definitely consider a player. I'm mainly looking for a good neck and 9 lbs or less.

This one is a limited edition Metro, in that it is an ash body with Morado fingerboard. Usually it's ash+maple or alder+Morado for Metros.

Very Interested Buyer Here

Kai -

I tried sending this as a PM but for some reason TalkBass
responds with a message saying your name "kai ski" was
not found, so here's the message I was trying to send:

Hi Kai -

Hey - I'm a recent convert to Sadowsky - picked up
a really nice Will Lee here on TB. Before that all I played for decades was Fender Jazz Basses.

I've got five really nicely setup Fender Jazz Basses any of which that I can trade + Ca$h if you have an interest.

I can email you pics if you would like to see them.
All of these are a couple ounces over 9lbs (2 or 3 at
most) and feel light to wear. I, too, am a stickler for
low weight, low action, and thinner fast necks. All of these are the lightest I've ever found.

Here's what I've got:
1. MIM Black Jazz with RW Board and White Pearl PG

2. Candy Apple Red American Special with Maple Board & Carbon Fiber in the neck, (2010 model),
EMGX pups, and 3 band EMG pre-amp, carbon fiber saddles, Antique White Pearl guard, chrome knurled knobs. (This was my top bass before the
Will Lee - It's a tone monster and a real beauty onstage)

3. Jazz Blacktop - White Chrome Pearl (holographic white pearl) with
Black pickguard, dual "P"-pups, RW board.

4. MIJ Aerodyne - All black - no guard, cream binding, PJ pups all original, blackened hardware, Strat jack receptacle.

5. MIM Fretless Jazz Deluxe (3 band pre-amp), Antique Vintage White (light yellow), Tort Guard, RW Board with lines (factory)

I have additional pickguards if you prefer plain white, or black, or tort, black pearl, parchment or mint.

All of these have been babied and set up beautifully for low action, some have a few very light scratches and a couple of dings, but nothing through the paint and
absolutely ZERO buckle rash (I use "scratch pads"
on all my instruments and they really work)
see: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/acces...nish-protector

I'm a real stickler about babying my guitars and all of these have terrific necks and are in great shape with little or no fret wear.
I play with very low action and a very light touch with D'Addario Chromes on most of them (smooth). If you'd like details or pics of any of them let me know and send me an email address.
Maybe we can come to a mutually beneficial deal on the Sadowsky. I'd love to have a second one and I really like yours.

Send me a PM with an email address so we can communicate privately.

Thanks,
THORRR :bassist::cool:

Let me know.
