FS: MLP King Singlecut 5 String

Hello,

For sale is an MLP King SC 5 string. I got this bass a few weeks ago right here on TB from a great TBer. It's a great bass. Plays really nice. However, the sound doesn't suit my play style. It's got a great growly, tight, refined Jaco-esque tone. Really great for the fusion / jazz guys. I'm asking for 2500$ shipped. It's in great condition. I'd say 9/10. Here's a link to a video on youtube of the bass with the specs in the description.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CW7hC3mRp6k

I'm open to trade offers. Am looking for a 5 / 6 string with an ash/alder body and maple/ebony/pao ferro fingerboard.

Thanks for looking. Please don't hesitate to shoot me a message with any questions.

Very nice MLP. These are great basses. I've got one with single coils.

I just noticed you are in Boston. So that makes 2 MLP King SC5's in Boston (for the time being). Nice.

The specs at the start of the video are informative about the woods and electronics but don't mention the scale. Scale length, please?

Hey, sorry about that. It's a 35' scale.

Technically I want to say the bass is a 34.5 scale. Built in Hungary the bass was made with a scale length in millimeters. GLWTS!

Thank you so much for clearing that up. I just thought there was something wrong with my tape measure because I've never had a bass with an odd scale length before. Some interesting offers but the bass is still available.

So you want a more P bass like round tone? I'm looking for a more cut in your face tone... plus we are both in Boston area. We should rock one day for the hell of it if my Reflex HH5 interests you at all.
