Music Man SR4 20th Anniversary.

Amazing figured maple neck and top. Smooth, satin neck. Thick polished tortoise pickguard (no screws). Very little playing time. A few tiny marks off from absolute perfection.

Spectacular MM sound. Currently equipped with a Nordstrand Alnico pickup with Aguilar pre-amp combination that delivers "more" musicman tone (deep bass, crisp highs with sharp attack. Original electronics included. Molded case.

An exquisite playing bass.

Bwaaaahhhhhh!!! Beautiful!!! I've only seen one other of these in quilted maple and it belongs to the bassist from family force 5.... This is my favorite color combo evar!!! I must say this one has a much creamier quilt than the other one and quite beautiful in it's own way. The guy from family force 5's is a perfect and stunning quilt. But it just goes to show every one of these are unique and a special piece to have. GLWS!!!

Does that pickguard come off or is it glued on? I have seen several others (20th anniv) but none had a pickguard on them..........I'm curious.....

Apparently the pg is stuck on with an adhesive. On the Ernie ball forum no one has seen one without the pickguard. Funny.

I never messed with it...it's a beautiful piece of tortoise.

I spoke with someone who removed it, using a warm iron over a hand towel to release the adhesive. They later re-applied it, using the same method.
