FS Modded Fender Urge with Bartolinis

Sign in to disble this ad
Great sounding, playing, lightweight bass in excellent condition.
Selling because I have too many basses and it just hangs on the wall.

Modified with Gotoh bridge, Schaller tuners (I assume these were not OEM), Bartolini pickups and three-band preamp (one tone control stacked), Dunlop straplocks. Recently strung with Ernie Ball roundwounds.

Great tonal range, very ballsy bass. 32-inch scale. Will be well packed, but comes without gig bag.

$425 shipped in lower 48.

Really not looking to trade, but feel free to run trades by me.

I also believe that these all came with a black pickguard. The pearl really spruces up the look of the bass. I have one and enjoy the crap out of it.

Surge

The neck is thin in profile, fast and very comfortable. I don't want to sell this bass. It is a true monster (and a sleeper, at that). But I have to have some sense of fiscal discipline.

Major GAS attack developing...
Tight, focused, "big" E string?
Any chance of some clips?

Yes, on the E string.

Sorry on the sound samples. I am a luddite.

But I can tell you that this bass goes from the ballsiest to the slappiest.

Sorry. It also appears that the neck plate which has the fender logo and Corona, California is also not OEM

In the interest of full disclosure, I have listed the bass on ebay
(the turning point was a retracted TB offer). If the instrument doesn't sell by the end of the Ebay period, I will cheerfully keep it.

About when I was thinking I would keep the bass and move on, it sold on ebay. Gonzo.
