This is a relisting.

Bought this bass from a fellow TBer Telekaster over 2 years ago now. It is awesome. It sounds the way that Jazz basses should sound IMO.

Comes with Aguilar OBP-3 preamp and the tone controls were changed. Volume and pan are the same, but now there is a stacked low/high and a push/pull for the mids, I forget what the pull does though. Norstrand NVJ4SV pick ups and a custom tortoise shell pickguard. You will be getting it just as I got it, with a hardshell fender case, strap locks, the original pre-amp and the ashtray that I took off. For all you people that care about the weight, finally weighed it on a bathroom scale and it said 9 lbs, but it isn't that accurate of a scale.

Just a simple little groove I improved on real quick. First half is with a passive eq. The pauses are my changing the pick up mix. First is all bridge, second is 50/50, third is all neck. Second half is the same as the first but with the active eq on with the bass and mids turned up a little and the treble cut just a hair. I just plugged straight into my mixer and left the EQ flat.

$800 shipped. I could do partial trades, but nothing big. I needz monies.

$800 is a S-T-E-A-L. If I didn't already have a natural/maple jazz with Nordy NJ4SV's in it, I would buy this sucker.

The Aguilar OBP-3 preamp has a mid-range frequency select which may be what the pull on the mid-range knob does. It also can be switched to passive mode. It's not clear, but the picture looks like there's a switch. Is that the active/passive switch?

Do you have any interest in a Moogerfooger Bass MuRF (with an expression pedal) as partial trade?

bump for a sweet looking bass. I love my marcus miller... been thinking about modding mine, and that tortoise pick guard looks so sexy.
