TONS OF PICS!

Got my camera back! Here are some shots of the bass. Other than the 2 small blems I photographed, there is some light playing wear, looks great for its age!

tiny scratches

small ding on the back of the neck

Sweet fretless 5 ... these puppies don't come around very often.

Why are you selling it? ... didn't you just pick it up a few weeks back? ... I totally missed it (due to a brain-fart )

what is the body and neck wood? controls are vol, blend, mid, treb/bass? pickups are single coil or humcanceling (stacked, split, maybe quad coil if old enough)? thanks in advance for the info.

I believe the body is Soma and the neck is carbon fiber with Cedar shell, fretboard is rosewood. After doing some research, I found that the pickups are Bartolini hum-canceling duel in-line coil, & preamp is the upgraded 18V Bartolini NTMB (with volume, pan, midrange, and stacked treble and bass knobs). Hope this info helps, let me know if you have any other questions.

Indeed. The standard on a Q5 is 17mm, the Genesis is 19mm. 35" scale length. Feels great, very even string tension.

Ibanez ATK 305 + Cash?

Or

Squier Deluxe Active Jazz V with Nordstrand pickups, Audere pre, Hipshot Bridge, Sadowsky flats + cash?

Figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Thanks for the offer, but I'm set on basses right now, unless it was another Modulus 5

Sounds good! You never know, might still be around. I'm actually torn right now because it's by far one of the nicest basses I've ever played, but I also really need the cash. I might end up keeping it though, at least for a little while longer.

Hey by the way..... you, um... ah.... you don't happen to have an extra little Phish ticket laying around do ya? I desperately need to see them in my hometown! We all (us locals) got shafted out of tickets thanks to TicketBastard. Just thought I'd throw it out there.

I was actually going to ask you the same thing about the Phish tix...haha. I read the article about the tickets on sale at the Civic Center and how they screwed it up...that sucks. All of my friends got shut out but me. Good luck on the ticket and if I hear of any, I will let you know.

I actually got Red Rocks tickets too....but only going to see 2 nights.

Good luck on the bass too!

Cool, please do let me know. At least you got Red Rocks though, that's one of the best venues on Earth! Holla if you decide you want to see the bass.

You know, I'm kinda wondering the same thing. I think it's a pretty good deal considering it's a $2500+ bass... but I guess times are tough for many right now. Thanks for the BUMP
