This is a Modulus Q5. I believe it is a 91/92 era bass. It has EMG pups and is wired for 18v instead of 9v. It has a sweepable mid range that was added. This really opens up a lot of tones.
This is my favorite bass I have ever owned and the longest one I have kept. It is in very good shape for its age. No buckle rash but does have the some surface rubs on it that one would expect for a bass this age. Also a couple of the bridge saddle set screws are missing. I have some non-original set screws that are in one saddle.
Tone is punchy but articulate and sustains forever. I used this from anything from RHCP and old funk to heavier rock. It handled it all. Never I mean never does the action change. I could go to standard to drop D flat(1/2 step down then drop d)
Now someone will ask why I am selling this. Well I am not gigging anymore and I don't see myself doing that for a very longtime. Also I was out of work for awhile and recently was confined to a wheelchair. So money is more important.
Shipped CONUS. I will cover shipping. It will come with a basic Fender gig bag unless you want my much more expensive gig bag but that will be another $50.
