FS - Modulus Q5

Sign in to disble this ad
I picked this up for a Dead cover gig, but I've moved on and so must this sweet Q5. I'm asking what I paid for it, $1750 + shipping.

Serial number is 000202
EMG pickups and electronics
Adjustable graphite neck
Cherry burst quilt maple
Everything works great and there are no major dings or blemishes; just your typical surface swirls and too-tiny-to-see wear and tare.
Comes with original Modulus HSC with all documents, and keys.

I hate to see this bass go and will miss the powerful tone and superbly tight B-string.

Trades; I was planning on rolling this sale into a new 5-string jazz or P/J bass, so if you've got anything like that I might be interested.

Edit: I accept PayPal only. No international shipping or trades.

Here's some pics:

What color would you like? I got a bunch of old rattle cans out in the garage.

update: preamp is EMG BQS system with a semi-parametric
mid control. Knobs are volume, balance, mid/freq stack, bass/treble stack.

I got 9.1lbs on my bathroom scale. I used the (me with bass) - (me without bass) = (bass) method.

This sound pretty normal to me for a Modulus. Not the lightest bass, but not the heaviest either.

Would you have any interest in a Sadowsky Metro P/J Hybrid? Like new bought at the end of 2009. I just feel lost on 4 stringers. Actually traded a Flea 5 for this just a few weeks back but miss that low B.

No can do if it is a 4 string. I need a 5 for a trade.
