FS: Modulus Quantum 5 amber top, Barts, OBP-3

$1850 shipped. U.S. only.

This thing is beautiful. I bought it new in 2003. It has:

- Bartolini pu's
- aguilar obp-3
- amber maple top
- alder body
- chechen fingerboard
- truss rod
- modulus hard case

It's punchy, has a killer B very consistent tone. It's a Q5.

Full disclosure:
- tone is a little on the dark side. Sounds amazing with the right amp.
- it's got some neck dive. I put a stack of taped quarters in the cavity to solve that (took those out, ehem)
- It has a ding which looks way worse in the attached pic than it actually is in normal light. The ding is smooth, it's just below the surface, it's basically small fractures in the finish.
- I've had this setup with a very low action in the past, but I had to play super light. My point is, I would say you can set this up with a medium low action but not ultra low. If ultra low is your thing, I'm not sure this is for you.

Bumping this one.

I had a nearly identical Q6 and it kills. The Bart/Aguilar/Chechen combo is pure tonal magic. Wish I could afford to grab this one.

Bump for a lovely bass and an honest approach.
