FS Modulus Quantum 5 (rare bird)

Sign in to disble this ad
I debated about doing this but I'm not gigging this bass much. (Pretty much using Stingrays and Js %95 of the time at the moment)

So I'm putting up what used to be main bass for about 10 years.

A 94 Q5 (New neck with the relief system, the neck is an 02)

This is a rare bass that has that older special barts package (pickups and preamp) that was a collaboration of Bill bartolini and Geoff Gould (founder of Modulus) called the "GGBB"

V/Bal/T/B phase switch.

Scarlet Red figured top.

New D'Addario XL just put on.

Pics coming tomorrow

$1500

Hello Folks

No trades unless you have a 70's style J bass, with the 70's pickup spacing, ash body and maple board. Seriusly would not be interested in anything else.

Shipping is lower 48 only (no overseas)

Back up

Hello Folks

I took this bass back from a buddy who needed a Fretless and Car repairs...and to be honest I just cannot keep a high end bass like this without gigging it...

So its back on the market with new strings and all polished.

Bump with a pic to help out my bass bro. I have played this bass and it has the nicest lowest action that I have even seen on a Modulus. Also I am not a Bartolini fan but these older barts sound the balls. They have a growl that I have never heard from any Bartlolini pickups. The bass plays, looks and sounds fantastic.

Neck is perfect.

There are 2 small little dings that do not break the paint.
(I never even noticed until I looked now).

No worries...
Its a phase switch (check out the first post)

Its a 94' electronics package that was only out for about a year.
