Fellow TB'ers, up for sale is my beautiful 2006 (September) Modulus Quantum 5 in a rare
dragonburst finish! This stunning bass has Bartolini pickups, Aguilar OBP-3 preamp and 5A quilt top. Serial number 060105. I'm the first and only owner of this bass, which I bought in early October of '06 from Tony at Planet Bass in Minneapolis who had gotten it from Modulus only 4 days before I called!
This bass is in beautiful condition. The plastic peel-off is still on the control cavity plate, it doesn't have any buckle rash and no scratches. Unfortunately, there is one very small ding on the very tippy top back corner of the headstock that you can't really see until it's under a camera flash. It may be small, but I almost cried when it happened.
I made a ramp for this bass, which is attached only with double-sided tape to avoid damaging the finish or being permanent. If you've never played a bass with a ramp, it's a very interesting experience... I found that it focused my technique, particularly slap style. I can take it off or leave it on, your preference.
Modulus hard case and case candy included with this sale of course... comfy spongy neoprene Strapp with Dunlop Straplocks, allen wrenches and even a Planet Bass sticker.
It pains me a little to sell this gorgeous lady, but I just haven't played it in way too long. I'm getting the itch to buy another bass, but I've made a deal with myself that I can't buy another axe unless I sell one.
