| | Hey Ho, lets go! Endorsing Artist: Spector Basses Spector Strings | | Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Washington DC,Silver Spring,MD | | | FS: MOSES GRAPHITE JAZZ BASS MATTE BLACK FS only. For your consideration, the last of the non Spectors. Since receiving my Spector endorsement, I have been selling off my non Spector basses. This is the last one, and the best. This was my number 1 for many gigs. This is a custom built Jazz bass. Commissioned by me and built by Washington Music Center.
* Moses Graphite 4 string jazz bass neck, bone nut, black satin finish.
* Steel threaded inserts, steel machine bolts.
* Warmoth alder full size jazz bass body, rear routed, matte black
finish.
* Schaller Hardware, black Schaller BML tuners, black Schaller 463
roller bridge, black Schaller straplocks.
* Bartolini 9J1s hum canceling pickups.
* Bartolini NTBT 18V preamp. Controls are Volume Balance Treble Bass. Internal mid boost.
* Shielded control cavity.
* PLEK fret level/setup by Philtone Guitars
* 9.1 LBS.
This is a players bass. All systems are fully functional. Truss rod, electronics, etc. Frets are in great condition and have many years of service left. The bass was built in 2002, it has 10 years of use but not abuse. There are plenty of dings and surface scratches and grime on the body only, nothing serious. Conservative 6.5 out of 10 cosmetics. Neck is very thin and extremely fast and smooth, and rock solid. Once you set it to your preference, it's done. This instrument was assembled by professionals and is a parts bass in the same way that any of the boutique jazz bass builders are. Attention to detail in every aspect of it's construction. Sound is VERSATILE. Name a genre it can do it. The platform is there. Don't like Barts? swap em out Currently wearing Spector nickel rounds and set to low action, I have a light touch. I have approximately $1600 in this instrument. Price is $637.00 includes delivery east of the Mississippi river. West please add $25.00. Paypal, check, money order, Local sale $50 discount!

A member sent me a PM asking what was wrong with the bass that I rated it 6.5 out of 10. The short answer is nothing. The bass is in excellent playing condition. There are dings and swirls, shiney spots from good honest use. Its a player. |

I'm drooling....but I love my jazz bass so the pain isn't too bad
