FS: MTD 535 #689 Ash/Maple

**SOLD**

This MTD has a black/grey stain over a quilt top. The low end is VERY solid and very well defined in the low register. (My previous MTD with Tulip/Wenge combo was sweet but the low end was just waaay too big)
This has been my main player for a number of years and has been well cared for. There are no dings on the body whatsoever. This bass was made for Justin at the Bass Exchange in Los Angeles. (The pickup covers show some wear from low action when Justin owed it) This bass has a brand new pre-amp shipped directly from Mike Tobias. Tight, focused, articulate, refined, woody and a killer slap tone. This bass is a monster.

I am only selling because I have moved to a shorter scale instrument and need the CASH. No trades at this time, thanks but I'm all set for gear at the moment.

I had previously listed this bass and yanked it because of some gig's that required it. Justin at Bass Exchange advised me that this bass would be priced attractively at $2500. I will sell it for that, and include shipping.

Paypal Echeck please. I have excellent feedback and ship promptly with no surprises.

I had one in the 600 range as well that was a black stain over a flame myrtle, tulipwood body and rosewood board. I miss that thing so much, this is close. I am pondering....

I love them all, but this is a unique MTD with a happening wood combination. Steal of a deal on price here, too...

Best,

Mike

It's why I keep pulling this bass off the market....I know I'll regret it. If I have an audition, and I really want the gig, I take this bass and I always get the gig. It's just.....unique.

Just a suggestion, but I would edit your initial post to include your price drop. Good luck with the sale, that's a sweet-looking bass!
