I have a literally brand new 535 in the much coveted Ash/Walnut, Ash/Maple combo. The top is stunningly figured Walnut.
I had posted this a few months ago and put it on hold for another TB member but the deal ultimately fell through. This is literally unplayed and brand new. The bass kills! You will not find a better deal anywhere. - Walnut "10" top
- Ash body
- Ash neck
- Birdseye maple fingerboard
- Newest version of MTD hardshell case
$4000 shipped in the lower 48
Really not interested in trades (But I know that people will ask... so) The only trades I would even consider are:
Alleva LG 5 (nitro only), or LM 5
Sadowsky NYC 5's (no 24-5's)
Fodera's
All +/- $ as appropriate.

I have a "GrooveShoppe" ordered MTD 535-24 in ash/ash and it is the absolute favourite of my basses. These really are "it" as far as MTD's are concerned and Joel knows how to work with Mike to pick out the good wood!

Yes, I personally picked the woods. It's about four months old but has never left its case. I've been sitting on it as I was holding it for someone but the deal fell through. It's as "new" as can be.
I will ship internationally but of course it will be at the buyer's expense.
Thanks,
JC |

That person is seriously missing out!!
Folks, they DO NOT come any better than Joel. Very highly recommended!
I can tell you from direct personal experience on two brand new MTD USA purchases, Joel has "the inside line" on this stuff, and at least used to pretty regularly go to Mike's shop to pick stuff out... so if he says it's exemplary... it is. |

In addition to AC's, Fodera's, Sadowsy's, I'd also be open to Dingwalls or 19mm Smiths.
But, cash is still king.
