Sign in to disble this ad
For Sale is my MTD 535 #1794: Greenburst finish over a perfect Myrtle Burl Top, Ash Body and Wenge/Wenge Neck. This Bass is Dead Perfect. Not a scratch or ding on it. It has only left the house about 10 times. Comes with MTD Hardshell case and new set of MTD strings. The case has some scrapes but the Bass is perfect. $3,400.00 Shipped to Lower 48. Or best offer. It is only nine months old. Will also trade for a Sadowsky NYC VJ5 Ash/Maple.

Had to re do my post. I had the Same Bass FT in another post and A Moderator deleted this one. My fault for not reading the rules very well. Sorry about that.

MadFloyd,

I changed Directions. The band I am playing with now demands a classic, Vintage looking Jazz Bass. And I just have the urge for a Sadowsky Jazz Bass. This MTD is a versatile a Bass as anyone would want. Believe me if I had the Cash for both I would have Both.

Likebuttah,

No I bought this Bass form Justin @ The Amp Shop.

Couple more questions:

1) How does this compare to your Cirrus? I have two basses at the moment, Cirrus being one of them (Fender P/J being the other).

2) What's the deal with the signatures & markings on the back of the headstock?

Thanks,
Ian

Did you just ask how an MTD compares to a Peavey? Dude there's no comparison.

Yeah, What likebuttah said. While the Cirrus is a nice Bass it isnt even in the same league as the MTD.

Each USA MTD 535 is signed my Michael Tobias and the serial # is also written on the back of the Headstock by Michael Tobias. These Basses are all hand made and this one is #1794. Hope that helps. Thanks

You don't get better than a USA MTD IMO. Different, but not better. Regarding the markings on the back of the headstock, in addition to Michael Tobias' signature/number/place of manufacture/bass type (535) is the Buzz Feiten Tuning System logo (that's what you see printed just above where the neck begins).

Shocked

I thought this Bass would have been gone days ago. Especially with income tax returns floating around.
