Up for sale ( no trades) is my beloved MTD 635 (#794) with wenge neck/fingerboard and a spalted maple top/ash body. It is in very good condition; OHSC is included. I would like to try to sell this locally first (I'm in the Philadelphia area and am willing to meet you halfway) since I'm afraid something might happen to it during shipping. I'm asking $2800 $2600 $2500.
This is going up for sale for two reasons. One, I'm coming out of the closet. That's right, for the past 15 years I've been a closet Jazz bass lover. The sale of my MTD will fund a plain old Jazz bass. The difference will be put towards Ph.D. program application fees, which is reason number two.  MTD 635 pictures by kander314 - Photobucket

Update:
I used this tone beast to record a full-length cd with my old band. While I can't find my isolated bass tracks the cd is on iTunes: search for "Look At How Awesome We Are" by Case of the Mondays. The following is a list of the clips that best highlight the tone:
