FS: MTD Artist 5 String

FS MTD Artist 5 String-serial #08060995. Not sure the year. Picked up used at GC about a year ago, has been my main gigging bass since then. I am going back to my 6-string Ibanez SDGR (miss that C string!!), and also just acquired a 5-string Steinberger copy that I've been GASing on forever from TB yesterday


Bass is in good condition-minor corrosion on the exposed pickups (in pics). Very minor finish scratches on the back of the body (didn't show up in pics as they are very superficial).

Icebox, thanks for your interest! This bass has original factory specs, which I have pasted in below. As to the tonal range, I consider it to be bright and punchy. I have a couple of great live sounds clips of the bass in action-I will send to your email if that's alright.

Uses the Buzz Feiten tuning system.
The MTD Kingston Artist 5-String features a medium weight, ergonomically carved basswood body and a bolt-on Eastern hard rock Maple neck. The Artist bass guitar comes with exposed-pole MTD MM style alnico humbucking pickups and includes active electronics. Custom made MTD bridge and tuners in black. Like all fretted Kingston basses, the Artist utilizes the Buzz Feiten Tuning System.
