I've realized that I'm just a 2-pickup kinda guy. This bass plays amazingly well- it has a smooth feel and even output all up and down the neck. The MM style humbucker with the 3-band EQ give a nice range of tones. MTD Kingston's are the import models, but the build quality is astounding! It's 35" scale so the low B is wonderfully tight even when the action is set super low (which it certainly is right now!)
19mm spacing means you can slap so easily.
Zero fret so open strings have a more even tone
24 frets.
Hard Rock Maple, asymmetrical neck which is really comfortable and very smooth/fast.
Still has the MTD nickel strings on it, which complement the tone nicely.
Did I mention it's really light? It's lighter than my P-bass! That would put it between 8 and 9 lbs.

It's quite a handsome beast, as you can see in the photo links. It's pretty much brand new.

$550 $525 $500 shipped CONUS in a nice well-padded gigbag. $450 if you're local.

I'd really rather sell, but the worst I can do is say no. I need less basses, but a backup amp or effects pedals are always interesting.
