SOLD: MTD Kingston Artist 5 --- SOLD!
Trans Cherry finish and Maple fretboard - Practically new, beautiful bass!

$625 shipped CONUS
Paypal, please.

[b]Anyone w/ a 4-string Spector they might wanna trade for a 5-string MTD, hit me up!

Ergonomic, comfy bass. I can't find anything wrong with it, Maple fretboards just aren't for me.

Details:
  • Carved Basswood Body, Trans Cherry (Photos don't truly do the finish justice, IMO.)
  • One-Piece Maple Neck/Maple Fretboard
  • 35" scale
  • 24 medium jumbo frets
  • Zero fret 1 3/4" wide
  • MTD bridge, 3/4" (19mm) spacing
  • Buzz Feiten Tuning System
  • EQ (Volume, Bass, Treble, Mid), MTD exposed pole alnico MM pickups
  • Shielded electronics compartment
  • Will ship in gig bag.

Oh - and I just slapped some brand new R.Cocco Nickels on her too!

Just played one of these in Rochester NY last week...

Again...If I played a fiver, this would be REALLY hard to pass up. Gives you that MusicMan Vibe at about half the weight and a heck of a lot better action too!

Thanks, T.B.! Yea. Honestly, this bass is excellent. Weight is something like 8-1/2lbs at best and the neck is a sweet player! If it was a rosewood FB, it wouldn't even be up here. I've realized that for me, Maple is not my thing. Somebody grab her!
