I posted this awesome bass briefly before. I decided against selling then for the same reasons that make it painful to relist it now. This is a great bass, only months old, and actually touched and set up by "The Man" Mike Tobias himself. To make a long story short, from the factory there were slight imperfections in the clearcoat, on the headstock only. Not totally satisfied with the time frame of the resolution offered by Dana B Goods, I talked to Mr. Tobias, although he told that DBG handled everything with the Kingston line, he told me that if I shipped it to him, he would redo the headstock himself. What a truly great man...and that is exactly what he did. He also restrung it with MTD strings and did a setup before shipping it back to me.needless to say, he does excellent work. It looks and plays like an entirely different bass. Hands down, the best bass that I have owned. Unfortunately, my situation forces me to sell it, and the experience that follows it. I am asking 1195.00 plus shipping. Included will be a hardshell case. PayPal is preferred.

Great story ... Mr. Tobias is such a good guy! ... it just makes you want to buy his basses.

I just sold a KZ6 ... eventhough it wasn't the same bass as this one here ... I gotta say, these are great feeling basses.

If I was looking for another "Modern" 5'ver ... I'd be strongly looking at this one right here.

Thanks...and I could not agree more on the M Tobias comment. He is a class act, in addition too his legendary work. These are indeed nice basses as well. BTW...a good set of flats would make this bass slightly less "modern-ey"

Thank you for the bump Brother. Actually, I wish that I were in a position to keep this bass. It is the only 5'er that I would ever really need. A need for cash is my only reason for selling. With that said, I suppose a trade is still a possibility. But it would definitely have to be a partial trade that involves a substantial amount of cash coming my way. Perhaps someone can make that happen: It is possible.
