Again to my knowledge, (anyone feel free to correct me), the original JJ line of basses were proto's and or special orders (i.e. Norm Stockton) which were hand built instruments made in Kingston NY by the man himself. The current line (Saratoga's) are entry level Korean made basses (built under Mike's specs.)
