All the work was done at the Bass Exchange here in LA... 
....so this is about as close to a 535 as you can get. Piano-Like sustain, quick response, and incredibly versatile with the pickup/preamp configuration. Booty, Snap, Thick bass just perfect for gospel, R&B, pop, rock, etc.... 
I've been using this bass on a few sessions lately including a commercial for GameStop featuring Jack Black...

Well.... It does have the Gouche vibe..... But it is warm and round too..... Really an awesome instrument. Wish I didn't have to let it go. This is one of those instruments that the band comments on. Several of the drummers I play with love it for it's quick attack and thick bottom

Somebody is going to get a stael on a killer bass.
