FS: MTD Z5 w/Upgrades - Beauty!

As much as I hate to do this, I am selling all of my basses except for one to pay off debt. I know its the right thing to do but it still hurts.

Asking for $975 shipped with a cheap SX hard case

This one is a beauty, it is a Natural KZ5 with the following upgrades:

Nordstrand Big Singles
Aguilar OBP-2 Preamp
Hipshot Ultralight Tuners
Hipshot B Bridge
Upgraded knobs
Active/Passive switch
Wired with Passive Tone Control - VVT + B/T










In the spirit of full disclosure, I have taken close-up photos of a few minor finish blemishes. If you look closely, you can see the black line is a little fuzzy. This is how it came from the manufacturer, and is under the finish, but fortunately is not noticable except for under close inspection.

Monday bump for one fine bass! I've done similar mods on mine and it's the closest thing to a MTD 535 as you can get for a lot less!!

Received the bass today, it's ridiculous! Thanks so much Turindev! I appreciate the heck of a deal, great packing job, quick shipment, not to mention all the great upgrades, strap-locks, Levy's strap, and nice hardshell case you included. For anyone considering a Z5, who cares if its made in Indo-china. I'm telling you these basses are the truth, especially with the upgrades. Don't hesitate to buy one. Easily on par if not exceeds US stuff. (I've owned a GW custom, Smith's, Modulus's, Fender Custom Shops, Warwick Custom Shops, Warrior's... etc) This bass is better than my old Grendel 5 fosho. I especially love the weight. Im in bass heaven
