Cool FS/FT MTD535, Unique Combination of Woods…

The body is Alder with a Bloodwood top. The neck is Maple with Ebony fingerboard. Buzz Feintein Tuning System. This system will show a great improvement in tuning when playing chords and when working with keyboard and horns. The bass 35" scale with 21 frets. The neck and body are finished with an epoxy base coat and catalyzed urethane topcoat. Double acting truss rod. Custom Bartolini pick ups and electronics. The controls are: master volume and a pan pot, treble, mid, bass cut and boost, with center click. Three positions switch selects the mid range cut and boost point. Down is lower mids (250 hz); center is middle (500hz); and up is upper mids (1000 hz). When the mid pot is at center click, the switch has minimal effect. There is a great varieties in the settings of the EQ. It can sound very traditional or very modern.
Selling price is $3800.00 reduced to $3700.00 or better offer. Payment using Paypal, buyer would pay shipping. The only trade would be for a Fodera Monarch GTR Standard Bass.
PRICE REDUCED TO: $3600.00
Open to more options for trade:
Fodera Standard 4 or 5 or FoderaNYC5 or I will add another MTD535 Fretless and a Jazz Bass for a Fodera Emperor 5…
STR 5 strings
Elrick 5 strings
F BN5
Ritter Roya

No maple fingerboards, sorry just a preference

Very nice!

The only bass that would make me sell my 535 is a Fodera. Luckily I sold almost everything EXCEPT the 535 when I ordered my Emperor Standard.

Can't get much more of a bass for $3300.

Good luck!

Cool MTD

Completely agree, my main axe is a fretless MTD535 and that is a keeper. Thanks.

nice bass bump. That bloodwood reminds me of mahogany. like the consistent color and grain, warm, and easy on the eyes. GLWT.

Talking MTD

I would trade it for a FoderaNYC Empire 5 or a FoderaNYC Standard 5.
