SOLD

OK, here's the deal on this one. This is a Stingray style body (probably not Ernie Ball, but a nice body nonetheless) I bought a while back for yet another project I was gonna build. It's just been sitting in my house for over a year. I don't need it and I need to get rid of some stuff and this is the first to go.

You will notice I had a different style pickguard made for this bass. I like it because it was different than the usual Stingray PG, and since there were no other holes, I decided to try it. If you don't like it and wish to put on a regular Stingray PG, it will work fine and all holes will be covered.

Anyway, what we have here is a body, a Bartolini soapbar pickup, a CustomShop bridge, pots (not soldered up yet, just attached to the control plate, which IS a genuine Ernie Ball plate for sure), and also for good measure; a set of tuners, and Aguilar OBP-1 preamp (brand new unused with pots) and a double battery box for said pre. Literally you would only need a neck and you're good to go.

What do I want? Well, I've got over $300 in parts I put into this. I don't expect to get that, but I'm also not gonna take $100 either, so I guess make me a (serious) offer based on those parameters. I also have a Wilkinson bridge and a "regular" Fender style, if you would prefer either one of those.

I don't have to sell everything together, but I am motivated (read: willing to cut you a better deal) to sell everything together.

If interested, please just go ahead and email; I find it easier than the TalkBass PM system:

The finish is without doubt a photo-flame type. Still a nice body tho, IMO.

There have been some questions about the pre by itself. Nothing is certain yet, but I do want to wait a bit to see if I can sell everything together.

Where'd you buy the body? Ebay?

Just asking, I'd really love to build a Stingray clone sometime.

Yeah, eBay. You see MM bodies pop up every once in a while on the 'bay.
