Highly figured birdseye neck and FB. The only "flaws" that I could find were a tiny scratch on the corner of the headstock and scuff marks on the pickgaurd. I didn't buy it new, but the guy I got it from must have never played it. I don't play with a pick, so the PG scuffs are very minor. It is about as close to perfect as you can get. I'd give it 9.5+ out of 10. Comes with HSC, un-filled out warranty tag and even the Music Man care products that it came with.
Sounds exactly how a MM 2 band preamp should sound. Not too aggressive, but will growl if you really tear into it. It has the string deadeners/snubbers/mutes, whatever MM calls them. Frets are in great shape. I'm not sure the weight. Stays in tune very well. It is currently my main bass. I cannot believe how well the finish has held up. Not a belt buckle mark, scuff or anything.
I need $1450 shipped to the CONUS. I'll meet within 50 miles of the Cincy area, or knock off $50 if you come and get it. I'll take a certified check or I'll send the bass after your personal check has cleared my bank. Or Paypal. http://i1133.photobucket.com/albums/...psb8715881.jpg http://i1133.photobucket.com/albums/...ps690ef4f7.jpg http://i1133.photobucket.com/albums/...ps3134e4b9.jpg http://i1133.photobucket.com/albums/...ps20f79ee9.jpg

I agree with the OP that the finish is bomber. I gigged mine pretty heavily for a year and can't find a significant scratch on it and I don't baby my basses.

Roscoes, Brubakers, Modulus, Warriors, etc. No more fenders please. I'll add what little cash I have for the right instrument. This is a really great bass. I'm just looking for something with a little more modern tone. |

I was looking at a fender american deluxe jazz 5 string, but I'd be interested in trying out your 5 string music man. I live in Muncie IN so cinncy's not too far away. If interested let me know. You can check out my double bass and I can check out your 5 string. My bass is posted on the double bass side: Knilling double bass for sale |
